The recently funded « Münster Isotope Research Center (MIRC) » offers the following position: Research Associate in the field of compound-specific carbon isotope research
The successful applicant must hold a Ph.D. in Earth Sciences, Biogeochemistry or Environmental Sciences. With this position, it is anticipated to establish the field of compound-specific carbon isotope research within the framework of the MIRC. Consequently, a solid background in organic geochemistry, respective lab work, and GC-C-IRMS technology is required. Following the initial laboratory set-up, it is expected that the successful applicant will develop his/her own research project.
