The German Research Center for Geosciences (GFZ) in Potsdam is seeking to fill two 2-year postdoctoral positions focusing on molecular and isotopic organic geochemistry. One project will focus on various aspects of faecal steroids (biosynthesis of stress-dependent corticosteroids, preservation, conversion to 5b-steroids), whereas the other deals with stable isotope analysis of lipids and metabolites using Orbitrap mass spectrometry, aiming at the simultaneous analysis of various light elements (experience with Orbitrap MS is desirable).
